Celebrating one YEAR!

It has officially been 1 year since I made the decision to take my photography to the next level.  Along this journey I have met some incredible people. One in particular Lori Fields the founder of Real Beauty Is

I am constantly trying to find ways to better myself and this new venture and when I joined Lori's women in business group one of the MANY things she taught me is to celebrate how far you've already come. So here I am, with my 1 year blog, celebrating the distance I have come and hoping I continue to make leaps and bounds!

Here is a sample of my favorites from the beginning up to the present!

Last year, this mommy let me drag her all over Manhattan to take maternity shots, I learned SO much from this one session and can't thank you enough for allowing me to take this on!

One year later this is my favorite maternity shot

My favorite shot from my very first newborn session (thank you Stephanie and Mike for letting me manhandle your new love)

Most recently, after many newborns and VERY patient Mommy's this is my current favorite shot

While I don't want to go through all the dramatic improvements, I do want to share a few more favorites from the year

There were FAR TOO many for me to choose so this is just a batch!

Special thanks to my Dad for supporting me, Chelse from eieio photography who gave me the courage and inspiration to go for it and MOST IMPORTANTLY my clients (especially the returning clients :) without you, there would be no business!

So cheers, sláinte, salute,  proost to a VERY fulfilling year!

The Cape

For those that don't already know, I also market on Cape Cod.  A couple weeks ago I "vacationed" at my parents place and my dear childhood (4-H camp) friend came to visit with her amazing husband and BEAUTIFUL daughter. We hadn't seen each other in over 10 years so this was an event for us and as most childhood friends do, we picked up right where we left off. This friend will always have a very special place in my heart.

We met and bonded while away at 4-H camp together and it was only fitting that her daughters first campfire and S'mores was in our company.

Posting these photos make me want S'more ::laugh::

The next day we headed out to the beach to take advantage of the color and ohhhhh was there color!!!

Then an outfit and hair change for a couple more. My dog, Murphy, had to step in and help.

As you can see by the extra long blog, I had a hard time picking favorites. I guess between the serene backdrop of the Cape, my love for my friend and a stunning little 2 year old you are destined for great shots!!

Ghosts of the past

I didn't get a chance to blog about all of my sessions so here is a few of my favorites from earlier!
